Four sailings a day to the Boracay jetty, twelve to Calapan, plus Romblon, Sibuyan and Capiz. Published 2026 fares and live seat checks.
Your two ports need to be different.
Pick a crossing and date, then finish on PHBus, where you can see which vessels are sailing and what each accommodation class costs.
Starlite Ferries, Inc. is the Chelsea Logistics shipping line that links Batangas with Mindoro, Boracay, Romblon, Capiz and the southern islands. Reserve the crossing online, then bring the e-ticket to the pier counter.
Choose your two ports and a sailing date. The results list each departure with its accommodation tiers, so you can weigh a reclining seat against a bunk or a private cabin before paying.
Vehicles are handled separately from passenger seats. If you are shipping a car or a motorbike, arrange that with the port office as well as booking your own ticket.

Present the e-ticket at the ticketing counter to be issued a boarding pass, pay the port terminal fee, and pass the security check before boarding. Discounted tickets are matched against the physical ID at this point.
Give yourself far more margin than you would for a bus. Loading a RoRo takes time, and gates close well before the published sailing time.
Booking a discounted fare? Student, senior citizen and PWD rates are published for every route, but the ID has to match the name on the ticket at check-in. Book the right passenger type from the start rather than hoping to adjust it at the pier.
Batangas is the hinge of the network. Almost every Luzon sailing starts or ends there, with a second cluster of crossings linking Caticlan and Mindoro, and a southern pair joining Cebu with Surigao.
Sailing days differ by route: Batangas–Calapan runs twelve times a day, while Sibuyan and Cajidiocan alternate across the week. The live timetable is the quickest way to see what is running on your date.
Port names and booking numbers below are the ones Starlite publishes on its route pages. Tap a number to call the pier directly — useful when weather is doubtful or you are shipping a vehicle.

Unusually for a Philippine operator, Starlite publishes its full fare tables as text. The figures below are its own 2026 regular rates; students, seniors, PWDs and children pay less, and the operator notes that rates and times can change without notice.

Vehicles travel on published per-length rates: a motorcycle to Caticlan is ₱7,580 and to Calapan ₱1,580. Electric and hybrid vehicles are not accepted on board. One quirk to know: the operator’s Caticlan page lists a sixth Roxas crossing at “9:00” without saying AM or PM, so confirm that one before relying on it.
None of these are secrets, but each one catches people out often enough to be worth spelling out.
The vessel ties up at Caticlan Jetty Port on Panay. A separate outrigger boat covers the last stretch to the island in about a quarter of an hour, and the jetty collects terminal, environmental and boat fees that are not part of your ferry fare.
The Luzon pier is the Port of Batangas in Sta. Clara, Batangas City, two to three hours south of Metro Manila. Budget for that road leg; plenty of travellers book a morning sailing and then discover the bus ride ahead of it.
Reclining seat, economy bunk, air-conditioned tourist bunk, cabin or VIP room — the gap between cheapest and dearest on the Caticlan run is several thousand pesos, and VIP rooms are priced per room rather than per head.
Starlite is a roll-on roll-off line, so motorbikes, cars and trucks cross on published per-metre rates. Electric and hybrid vehicles are the exception: the operator states on every route page that they are not allowed on board.
Starlite can get you to Caticlan in one long sail or in two shorter ones with a drive across Mindoro in between. Which is better depends on whether you value sleep or daylight.
| Direct from Batangas | Via Mindoro | |
|---|---|---|
| Legs | One sailing | Two sailings plus a land transfer |
| Time at sea | 9–10 hours | About 2–3 hours, then 3–4 hours |
| Cheapest fare | ₱2,170 | ₱680 plus ₱1,340, plus land transport |
| Best for | Sleeping through the crossing, bringing a vehicle | Daylight sailing, breaking the trip in Mindoro |
| Watch out for | Sells out on holiday weekends | Missed connections if the first leg is delayed |
The Mindoro crossing between Calapan and Roxas is by road, roughly a three-hour drive, and is not part of a Starlite ticket.
Fares shown are Starlite’s published 2026 regular rate for the cheapest accommodation on that crossing. Each card opens a live seat search.
The Batangas–Caticlan and Capiz runs are overnight voyages on roll-on roll-off vessels rather than fast craft. Expect a canteen rather than an included meal service, open decks, and a boarding process closer to an airport than a bus stop.
Starlite Ferries, Inc. is a Philippine roll-on roll-off shipping line based in Batangas City and part of the Chelsea Logistics group. It carries passengers, vehicles and cargo between Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.
Its best-known crossing is Batangas to Caticlan, the sea route to Boracay, but the highest-frequency service is the short Batangas–Calapan hop to Mindoro, which runs twelve times a day.

The questions that come up most often before a first crossing.
Starlite sails to Caticlan from the Port of Batangas in Sta. Clara, Batangas City — not from Manila. Batangas City is roughly two to three hours south of Metro Manila by road, so allow for that leg plus check-in time when you plan the day.
No. Starlite docks at Caticlan Jetty Port on the Panay mainland. From there a separate outrigger boat crosses to Boracay in about 10 to 15 minutes, and the local terminal, environmental and boat fees are collected at the jetty, on top of your ferry ticket.
Allow nine to ten hours at sea. Starlite runs it as a roll-on roll-off voyage rather than a fastcraft, which is why the overnight sailings are popular — you board in the evening and wake up near Boracay.
Starlite publishes four daily departures from Batangas: 7:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Sailings from Caticlan back to Batangas are listed at 1:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Times shift with weather and season, so check the live timetable for your date.
Starlite's published 2026 regular fares start at PHP 2,170 for a reclining seat, PHP 2,270 for an economy bed bunk and PHP 2,790 for an air-conditioned tourist bunk. A cabin is PHP 3,720 per person and a VIP room is priced per room from PHP 8,300. Students, seniors, PWDs and children pay less.
A reclining seat is an airline-style chair in an air-conditioned lounge. Economy and tourist bed bunks are actual bunks in a shared dormitory-style deck, with the tourist tier air-conditioned. A cabin sleeps a small group in a private room, and a VIP room is booked as a whole room rather than per passenger.
Yes — Starlite is a roll-on roll-off operator and publishes vehicle rates by length, starting at PHP 7,580 for a motorcycle on the Batangas to Caticlan run. Electric and hybrid vehicles are not accepted on board, which the operator states on every route page.
Batangas, Calapan and Roxas in Mindoro, Caticlan in Aklan, Romblon town, Sibuyan and Cajidiocan in Romblon province, Roxas City in Capiz, plus Cebu, Surigao, Nasipit and Dapitan in the south.
Twelve crossings a day, leaving on the odd hours from 1:00 AM through to 11:00 PM. Regular fares start at PHP 680, or PHP 770 on the fastcraft service.
Yes. Romblon town is a daily 3:00 PM sailing from Batangas. Magdiwang on Sibuyan Island runs Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 PM, and Cajidiocan on the same island runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:00 PM.
Yes. Starlite's own bookings run through Chelsea Travel, its parent group's platform, and the sailings also appear on travel booking platforms. The search on this page checks live availability and takes you through to complete the payment.
Yes. Starlite publishes separate fares for students, senior citizens and persons with disability on every route, typically 20 to 30 per cent below the regular fare, plus child and infant rates. Bring the physical ID that matches the discount you booked.
Treat a ferry like a flight rather than a bus. Arrive well before the published departure so you can pass the terminal fee counter, security check and ticket validation, and expect vehicles to be asked to report even earlier for loading.
Crossings are suspended when the coastguard restricts sailing during storms. Starlite posts advisories on its own channels, and rebooking is handled by whoever issued your ticket — the operator for counter sales, or the platform you booked with online.
No. This is an independent traveller guide with no connection to Starlite Ferries, Inc. The operator's own website is starliteferries.com.
Port names, contact numbers, sailing times, fare tables and the vehicle rules on this page come from Starlite Ferries’ own route pages, which publish 2026 rates in full. Seat availability changes by the hour, so the live timetable on PHBus, powered by 12Go, is what to trust for a particular sailing.
Starlite states that its rates and schedules may change without prior notice, and sailings are suspended in bad weather. Treat the numbers here as a planning guide and your booking confirmation as the record.
